How to connect

Claude
  1. Open claude.ai → Settings → Connectors.
  2. Choose Add → Add custom connector.
  3. Name it DentalUnlock and paste the connector URL. Leave sign-in off.
  4. In a chat, turn DentalUnlock on from the tools menu and ask a question.
Custom connectors are available on paid Claude plans.
ChatGPT
  1. Open Settings → Apps (or Plugins) → Advanced, and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Create a new connector named DentalUnlock with the connector URL and no authentication.
  3. In a chat, pick DentalUnlock from the + menu and ask a question.
Developer mode requires a paid ChatGPT plan. Menu names change often; look for Apps, Plugins, or Connectors.

What data is collected

  • Your assistant sends only what the tool needs, like state, specialty, graduation year, or a city. No names, emails, or account details.
  • We don't store your questions or answers. Server logs record which tool was called, not what you entered.
  • Your IP address is held briefly in memory to prevent abuse (rate limiting), then discarded.
  • Salary and job results come from public dental job listings.
  • Anything you choose to submit later on dentalunlock.com is covered by our privacy policy.

Questions

Do I need a DentalUnlock account?
No. Every tool works without signing in. You only create an account later, on dentalunlock.com, if you apply for real quotes or buy a full contract analysis.
Is the malpractice number a quote?
No. It's an estimated range based on your profile. Real quotes come from carriers after you apply, usually in 2–7 business days (1–2 weeks if you've had a claim or board matter).
Does it cost anything?
Using DentalUnlock in ChatGPT or Claude is free. Comparing malpractice is free, and your premium is the same as going direct to the carrier. Contract grading is free; the full analysis is $149 and the negotiation playbook is $249.
Can the AI apply or buy insurance for me?
